Ex Tropical Depression 5, Visible, 1:45 PM EST. The former Tropical Depression 5 that came ashore in Florida last week has resurfaced over water and is ripe for development. Right now on satellite TD5 has a good circulation and good convection and it’s possible it could be renamed tonight. The NHC gives it a 60% chance of redeveloping into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. It should be over water for 48 hours before coming ashore in Louisiana.
