Tropical Storm Bonnie, Infrared (colored), 6:45 PM EST. TS Bonnie has formed over the Bahamas and is headed towards Florida. Right now Bonnie is throwing up a lot of convection and sustained winds are at 50 MPH. Bonnie will most likely strengthen over night and there is a slim possibility it could reach hurricane status before landfall somewhere along the Floridian coast.

Tropical Depression 3, Infrared (colored), 1:30 PM. TD3 formed early this morning over the Bahamas. Formerly knows as 97L TD3 could be named Tropical Storm Bonnie later today. The current forecast has shifted farther west and puts the landfall area somewhere between Houston and New Orleans.
