Tropical Storm Tomas, Infrared (colored), 10:45 PM EST. Tropical Storm Tomas, the 19th storm of the 2010 hurricane season, has formed. Tomas has winds sustained at 60 MPH and is intensifying rapidly. With the formation of Tomas 2010 became the 3rd most active hurricane season ever recorded.

92L, Infrared (colored), 4:00 PM EST. 92L has been organizing slowly and will likely be classified a tropical depression some time tonight. The NHC gives 92L a 60% of developing into Tropical Storm Julia. 92L’s current track will take it just south of Jamaica a couple days from now and in a week it looks as if it will make landfall somewhere on the Yucatan peninsula.

Tropical Storm Danielle, Infrared, 11:00 PM EST. TS Danielle has formed a thousand miles west of the lesser Antilles with sustained winds of 50 MPH. Danielle formed from what was Tropical Depression 6. Right now Danielle continues to organize and strengthen as it churns westward at about 10 MPH. The current forecast for Danielle is unsure and anywhere from Cuba to Bermuda should watch as time progresses. Danielle will most likely be a hurricane by this time tomorrow.

The current forecast for Danielle is unsure and anywhere from Cuba to Bermuda should watch as time progresses. Danielle will most likely be a hurricane by this time tomorrow.

Tropical Storm Colin, Infrared (colored), 11:15 PM EST. TS Colin formed early yesterday morning several hundred miles west of the Lesser Antilles. Current wind speeds are sustained at 40 MPH and are likely to decrease due to shear. The current forecast for Colin takes him just above Puerto Rico in a couple of days then starts to curve him north towards North Carolina. Right now the models are still unsure and anywhere from Florida to Bermuda could be impacted.
