Current track predictions for TD3 as 2:00 PM EST. The current set up for TD3 is very worrying due to most models predicting it should pass straight over the oil spill site. If Tropical Depression 3 does do that than a large amount of oil would be washed into the marshlands and Lake Pontchartrain. Tropical Depression 3 is under low shear and should intensify to a tropical storm soon. Models predict that TD3 will be a hurricane at landfall.
